Prior to enjoying the company of the party goers, Bob Odenkirk addressed the media and we talked about one of the most talked about shows of the year, Better Call Saul. As I mentioned in the latest installment of The Chicagolite Spotlight; this is a show that I am currently obsessed with. It has exceeded my expectations and I can’t wait to see what else is in store for this coming season.

When I had my own chat with the star, I’ll admit that I tried to get him to divulge in some insider secrets. When I asked him what else we should be on the lookout for this season, he said to be on the lookout for a lot more intensity. If you’ve already seen the first three episodes, you’ll wonder how on earth could it get even more intense. According to Odenkirk, this is only the beginning.
Odenkirk also mentioned that fans can expect an incredibly funny storyline that will begin to unfold this season. Odenkirk was definitely teasing, as he wouldn’t even divulge the slightest hint of this mystery story that we need to be on the lookout for. If it makes you feel any better, he said he wishes he could tell us, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

Once the media round-up was over, it was now time to officially kick off the soiree. The festivities officially commenced once Odenkirk toasted with Michigan Avenue Magazine President and Publisher Dan Uslan and Editor in Cheif J.P Anderson. Throughout the evening, Odenkirk was incredibly warm and welcoming as he chatted with various party-goers. He even braved the cold by taking a step outside the rooftop bar. The charismatic Bob Odenkirk was the ultimate host throughout the evening.
The Michigan Avenue Magazine party featured all of the necessary ingredients for the perfect event. Odenkirk was the charismatic host, Vertigo provided the delectable hors d’oeuvres, and Wansas Tequila provided the refreshing beverages. In addition, guests were treated to an exclusive preview of the latest timepiece collection by Chicago jeweler C.D. Peacock.

I’d say it was a successful event and a great homecoming party for our Chicago star Bob Odenkirk. Plus, it was so much fun to cover my first red carpet event for The Chicagolite. A special thanks once again goes out to Michigan Avenue Magazine for the invite.
