With Valentine’s Day falling on a weekend this year, you bet it’s going to be pretty tough to make plans at this point. Restaurants and hotels are booked which means procrastinators are going to have to think a little bit outside of the box this year. No worries, for those of you who are single, taken, or in a complicated situation, there is plenty of time to celebrate Valentine’s Day so you don’t have to deal with that Saturday crowd. There is no shortage of activities  in Chicago this month, so you are off the hook if you couldn’t make plans in time.  Here are some selections both conventional and unconventional for a fun night out on the town.

Top off your meal with a selection of the finest wine. For $79 your meal at Del Frisco’s will make it look like you really broke the bank, but you don’t have to tell anyone how great of a deal you got.
