This show certainly needs no explanation, but the long-awaited arrival of Jesus Christ Superstar is finally here. Chicago theater lovers prayers have been answered and the iconic rock musical will soon debut at The Lyric Opera.

The star-studded performance opens on April 28th and ends May 20th.

If you had a chance to check out the critically acclaimed live show on NBC starring John Legend, then you won’t be disappointed. Turns out, majority of the ensemble cast will be in the Chicago production.
